NEW Huggies Slip On Diapers are here!

Anyone have a child that will not lay down and hold still for 5 seconds to have their diaper changed like me?  One of my girls for the life of me will just not hold still.  I thought after we got through her 2nd ear infection in 2 weeks she'd lay down for me now that her ears didn't hurt and that is so not the case!  She wants to be on the move!  I just saw these diapers today and we're going to give them a try.  We've been doing "Standing Diaper Changes" with her for a while now so I'm thinking these might be easier.  I'm a little worried about how messy its going to be when she does go #2 but we'll give them a try!  These are slip-on diapers that are padded enough like the regular diapers to keep your kiddos dry and aren't super thin like the potty training diapers.

Time to try the Huggies OverNites!

We LOVE our Pampers diapers but we're having an issue of the girls sleeping 13 hours a night and leaking through their diapers!  Even though we buy the Pampers Baby Dry that says it lasts for 12 hours, its not cutting it for our girls!  I'm getting tired of washing wet beds!  Its time to try the Huggies OverNites!  I have a lot of friends that recommend these diapers even if they use Pampers during the day.  I also was assured their kids haven't gotten diaper rashes from these diapers.  We'll let you know how it goes.  Ordering from Amazon.com for subscribe n save free shipping right now!  I was told Target & Walmart have them in bulk packages too. (Thanks Lesa!)

Pampers DRY MAX Lawsuit - Update

Here's an update on the Pampers DRY MAX diaper lawsuit.  Many people have complained that their babies have gotten severe diaper rashes from this new diaper style by Pampers.  I have friends that have had to switch diaper brands since they did experience their first severe diaper rashes with the DRY MAX and I have friends that actually like them.  DRY MAX diapers were made with a new formulation that reduced absorbent paper and redistributed the liquid-absorbing plastic in a design the company touted as better for the environment and less bulky.  We never wanted to find out if we liked these diapers or not so we stayed with the Pampers Sensitive or Pampers Baby Dry styles.  I think we'll need to try the Huggies Over nights since both my girls are soaking through the Pampers Baby Dry diapers at night!  Anyway, the lawsuit settlement recorded that Pampers will pay $2.7 million in lawyers' fees, and has committed to spending $400,000 on "training programs in pediatric skin health" while admitting no wrongdoing. They are also paying plaintiffs $1,000 each to cover their expenses.
