Chicken Pox Can Show-up At Any Age
Our girls are 17 months old and one just broke out in Chicken Pox today. Its amazing how quickly the virus can spread on her body with little red bumps all over. At 4pm today I saw a few on bumps around her lips and just figured it was from her sucking on a cup the full car ride. At 7pm there were more on the face and as I stripped her clothes off I saw the dreaded bumps all over her legs, arms, and going up the back! She was a happy camper all day running around with a smile on her face. I've been doing quite a bit of research this evening and the best information is straight from our Pediatric's website. Thank you Pediatric Associates for these tips! Its a little creepy to think this virus has been incubating in her for 20 days but I guess in 2 weeks this "experience" will be all over for at least one of our girls. We're sure the other will follow right behind. Anyway, make sure you check out your Dr's website. They all have a ton of great information.
