A 9 year old girl, Rachel, lost her life in the I-90 crash this past week in Seattle, WA. She was a member of our church and she believed in Jesus. She was ready to get baptized next week and was very excited. For her 9th birthday she asked people to donate to the Charity Water foundation that provides clean water in Africa through drilling water wells. Originally, she missed her $300 goal by $80. After our community heard about this devastating news to such a young girl she has now reach $80,000 tonight! Her spinal cord was severed and she lost her life the other night. She is with God in heaven looking down on us all and guiding us to give to a greater cause.
I cannot imagine my life without my 17 month old daughters. The pain this family must be going through is unbearable. Our community is showing our love, support, and faith by donating to Rachel's birthday dream and remembering her great life.
