Sunglasses for Babies

Did you know that babies & kids need to wear sunglasses too?  We adults wear sunglasses to protect our eyes, it only makes sense to have our kids protect their eyes too.  According to our Eye Dr, eyes can get sunburned too.  When you are outdoors, you probably already have noticed that your child will turn their head away from the sunlight or squint their eyes.

According to Frubi Shades, "The human eye is 10 times more sensitive to harmful UV rays than your skin. Yet how many of us consider sunglasses for our children a necessity, like using sunscreen? Not many!  As we age, our natural lens becomes more protective. Until then, children's eyes need all the protection they can get!"

Our Eye Dr's office sells the Julbo baby & infant & children brand of sunglasses and we're looking into purchasing a couple pairs.  These lenses are polycarbonate so they won't break, have anti glare treatment, secure with a strap, round for full protection, and Dr recommended.

We wanted to share this style of sunglasses with you since we've already gone through a couple different pairs for our girls and they have either broken them or pulled them right off.  We protect our eyes so we should protect our children's too!
