Too Cold to Work-out???

Do you think its too cold to work-out?  Think again!  There's lots of other creative ways to get that work-out in!  Read this article for some ideas to get inspired!




"Baby, it's cold outside, isn't it?  Is that reason to not have your walk or workout?  No!  You can still walk!

Here are a few tips to stay fit and healthy regardless of the weather outside:
  1. Utilize DVDs or videos.  KCLS has a terrific collection of videos to choose from, including walking and workout videos that can be used with Walk With Your Libraries and your KCLS walking log.
  2. Walk through a local mall.  Use a pedometer and track your pace.
  3. Go the gym.  This is a great way to add variety to your strength and aerobic workouts"
