Halloween FUN

Fall is here, the leaves are turning, and it's the beginning of a wonderful holiday season.  We love to celebrate Halloween by visiting pumpkin patches all during the month.  There are so many wonderful harvest festivals too.  Our girls love to decorate the house and point out all the orange pumpkins as we drive.  We've always had a hard time trying to "carve pumpkins" with our toddlers and this year Pinterest has become my best friend.  Why didn't I think to just paint our pumpkins!  My girls love to make their "projects" and especially get a paint brush in their hands!  Puffy paints, buttons, fabric paints, cookie cutters, glitter glue, or anything else can be used to decorate those pumpkins.  You can even carve out your pumpkin and turn it into a flower pot!

We'll be decorating our pumpkins on the outside this year with some art supplies just like
thinkcrafts.com  published with their puffy paint idea.

We'll also be painting some paper plates orange and using our scissors to cut shapes for some pumpkin faces.  The girls love to see their art work hanging on our kitchen cabinets and these will be a festive display!  Thanks to Party Ideas Parade for this rainy day project idea!  http://www.partyideasparade.com/easy-halloween-crafts.html

We hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween!
