Perfect Life Jacket for Tots this Summer

One of our dear Twin Mommy friends is about to head-off to Maui with her 18 month old very active boys.  They are planning lots of pool and ocean swimming time.  She's been on the search for a couple weeks now for the perfect life jacket to keep her boys safe and make her feel comfortable that her precious babies are safe.  At 18 months these boys are very active and love to RUN all over.  My husband and I make sure there is one adult at all times per baby with our girls but they weren't running and jumping into the water when we were taking swim lessons and went to Maui this past spring.  She went to Waterbabies to get advice on safe swimming for her boys.  We wanted to share the life jacket she found and it looks great!  She's been trying several different life jackets in her pool at night and all have failed.  she needed one to help the boys float but most important keep their head out of water!  This jacket is more expensive than she would have liked when buying two, but your baby's life is priceless so at the end of the day, us parents will really pay anything for our child's safety.  We wanted to share her life jacket find with you.  We'll probably be buying two of these jackets for our girls too now.

Swimways Baby Spring Float with Sun Canopy

We took this swim float to Hawaii and our girls loved it!  We were really happy with the durability of the product, how easy it was to pack, and how well the sun shade truly did protect the girls from the sun!  If you are looking for a great swim float for your kids try this one! (Recommended age: 9 months - 2 years)

Of course since its summer and swim time.  Don't forget to stock up on those swim diapers!  Our local pool requires us to use these swim diapers AND a plastic cover underneath their swimsuit to keep any accidents in and avoid the pool having to be evacuated.  :)
