Daylight Savings & Bedtime Adjustment -- Tips

Its time to turn back the clocks this weekend for Daylight Savings!  Usually that means an extra hour of sleep in the fall but if you have kiddos like me that only sleep a certain amount of hours and then they are UP ready to PLAY it doesn't necessary mean you are going to be getting any extra sleep this time around! :)

The best tip a Mom friend told me is if I like my current schedule and the wake-up times, feedings, and naps then I need to work on adjusting my kids to the new daylight savings time a week before we turn back/forward the clock.  Each night just adjust the schedule by 15 minutes until you get to the time you desire.  This method has worked really well for us the past few years and we're hoping it works well again this weekend!

Daylight saving time finally ends this Sunday at 2 a.m. -- remember to set your clocks back one hour when you go to bed Saturday night.
