Review your Credit Report once a Year

As a strong financial practice, review your credit report once a year.  Make sure that all credit cards listed are actually yours and have the right information recorded and balances.  If you need to dispute a charge the websites have an area for you to enter that information OR you can call the company listed to ensure that account is closed and off your record.  There are several websites that *offer* FREE credit reports but if they ask you to enter a credit card before giving you the report its NOT the right site to use.  We learned the hard way one year and were charged $5.99 monthly for a credit monitoring service we never signed up for!  It was such a pain to get rid of this service and a credit back on our credit card!  Use the site below and review your information at least once a year so that when you do go buy a car, house, etc. the company is getting the right credit score for you.
